Terms and conditions for Lessons for school children at
The Tomo Language Academy

The subject taught will be Mathematics. These lessons are charged at the rate of £6.25 per hour. It is the responsibility of the parent to make sure their child attends as lessons missed will not be rescheduled or refunded.

Tomo employs teachers that are qualified in either field and makes sure that CRB checks are in place for all staff and teachers.

In the classroom the teachers take responsibility for the student’s security and well being, however I take overall responsibility in making sure that the school is safe and secure. Tomo has Employers Liability insurance and is registered with the Department of Education and Skills as a Language school, registration number 18715.

It is the parent’s responsibility to make sure that their child (children) arrives at the school on time for the lesson as late arrivals cause disruption to the class. The teacher reserves the right to refuse entry to their class if a student is late.

Tomo reserves the right to remove a child from a lesson if the behaviour of that child becomes unacceptable. In extreme circumstances this can result in total suspension of that child.

Any damage to property caused by a child at the school will be billed to the parent. The child will only be re-admitted when this has been paid.

We reserve the right to change the time and date of a lesson with 24 hours notice.
